Autodesk announced that AutoCAD 2024 and AutoCad 2024 LT software for macOS is now available on Macs based on Intel processors and Apple Silicon SoCs.
Optimized for both Apple Silicon and Intel-based Macs, the updated AutoCAD 2024 software will provide a performance boost for those who purchase Macs based on the Apple M1 and M2 SoCs. Autodesk says native support for Apple Silicon can increase performance by up to two times over non-optimized 2023 software.
AutoCAD 2024 features new performance enhancements for 2D graphics and increased stability, fidelity, and performance improvements including up to 9x faster switching between layout tabs compared to AutoCAD 2023.* AutoCAD 2024 installation is also improved with an install up to 2x faster than AutoCAD 2023
